Weller, Clapton and Moore for Cork

Christy Moore, Eric Clapton and Paul Weller are among the acts announced for this year's Live at the Marquee gigs in Cork.

They join pop star Shayne Ward and previously-announced acts Tommy Tiernan and Dolly Parton on the bill for the summer gig series. Clapton's Cork visit is in addition to his previously confirmed visit to Malahide Castle in Dublin on June 21.

The full line-up of concerts now looks like this:

June 19 - Shayne Ward (tickets €44.60, on sale February 2)
June 20 - Eric Clapton (tickets €76.25 GA, €81.25 seated, on sale February 4)
June 21 - Dolly Parton (tickets €81.25 GA, €91.25 seated, on sale now)
June 28 - Christy Moore (tickets €45/€40/€35, on sale February 5)
July 2 & 3 - Tommy Tiernan (tickets €35, on sale February 1, July 3 already sold out)
July 6 - Paul Weller (tickets €52.80, on sale February 7)

Aiken Promotions say several more international acts will be announced over the coming weeks.
