WATCH: Green Day's Tribute To Amy

No explicit confirmation as yet that the song is about the talented, troubled and sadly late Ms. Winehouse, but Green Day have a new, considered and heartfelt song entitled 'Amy'. You can hear that first airing below. Sample lyrics do include "dirty records from another time" and "27 gone without a trace", which would all seem to indicate a rumination on the London singer's demise.
And a note to Green Day fans, the kings of pop punk also debuted 15 new songs at that Costa Mesa gig last week (in aid of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation) so a new album looks to be on the horizon.
