Vibe For Philo tonight!

A stellar line-up is set to pay tribute to the great man...

The Hot Press Newsdesk, 04 Jan 2012

After the momentous, emotional and thoroughly entertaining event that was the 25th Vibe For Philo, the 26th installment poses the question; “Are You Ready?”. With that in mind, The Button Factory is preparing to get rocked to its very foundations this evening (Wednesday January 4).

Boasting an excellent an eclectic line-up, the Vibe is the biggest party in town. Funk soul heavyweights Republic Of Loose are arguably the pick of the bunch but partygoers are in for a treat all across the board with cult sensations The Radiators From Space - who opened for Thin Lizzy on the UK leg of the 1977 Bad Reputation tour and the legendary Doish Nagle whose full electric Grandslam show is not to be missed.

All that and sets from the Thin Lizzy Experience, The Low Riders and a DJ set from Smiley Bolger. Not to mention the awards for those who don their best fancy dress. The full running order is as follows:

8.00pm Doors/ Disco Intro

9.00pm Thin Lizzy Experience (opening set)

10.00pm The Radiators From Space

10.40pm The Low Riders

11.50pm Republic Of Loose

12.20am Dosh Nagle's Grandslam

1.00am The Queens Speech / Best Dressed Awards

1.15am Thin Lizzy Experience (closing set)
