Two Door Cinema Club for Choice Prize live event

16/1 outsiders to play acoustic set

The Hot Press Newsdesk, 24 Feb 2011

The line-up for this year's Choice Music Prize Event at Vicar St. on March 3 has been finalised with confirmed performances now from Two Door Cinema Club (albeit an acoustic set) and Cathy Davey. This brings to 9 acts (out of the 10 nominees for the prize) playing on the night with Imelda May being the only unfortunate exception. But don't cry for her Vicar St. as she's currently touring in Australia.

The event is now only a week away and tickets are completely sold out which means all that's left to do is speculate on who might take home the €10,000 prize. Two Door Cinema Club are certainly worth a flutter at a generous 16/1 but Villagers is still the overwhelming favourite at 1/3.

Check out the latest Paddy Power odds below:

Villagers - Becoming A Jackal 1/3

James Vincent McMorrow - Early In The Morning 4/1

The Cast Of Cheers - Chariot 6/1

Halves - It Goes, It Goes (Forever & Ever) 8/1

O Emperor - Hither Thither 10/1

Adebisi Shank - This Is The Second Album Of A Band Called Adebisi Shank10/1

Fight Like Apes - The Body Of Christ & The Legs Of Tina Turner 12/1

Two Door Cinema Club - Tourist History 16/1

Cathy Davey - The Nameless 16/1

Imelda May - Mayhem 25/1
