Top Irish artists stage Johnny Cash tribute gig

David Kitt, The Walls, Bray Vista, Ira Hayes and Kila will be convening at Vicar St. next week to pay homage to Johnny Cash

Vicar St. is the venue on May 26 as a gaggle of Dublin's finest musos pay tribute to the original punk rocker, Johnny Cash.

Kicking off at 8pm, Bray Vista, David Kitt, Ira Hayes, Kila and The Walls are among those who'll be taking a liberal stroll through the Man In Black's back catalogue.

Better still, all the proceeds will be going to Gorta and their 'Grannies Project' which aims to find foster parents for African children who've been orphaned by HIV/AIDS.
