The Script Top Irish Charts

Recent Hot Press cover stars reach number one.

The Hot Press Newsdesk, 17 Sep 2010

The Script have made it back to back successes for the last two Hot Press cover stars as their Science & Faith album has knocked Imelda May's Mayhem off the top of the charts.

However it's not all bad news for May as she continues to have two albums in the top five with Love Tattoo remaining in fourth place.

Linkin Park's new LP, A Thousand Suns, has debuted at number three, while Robert Plant shows no sign of faltering with his new album, Band of Joy, the next highest new entry at number eight.

Other new entries include Phil Collins' Going Back (10), Interpol's self-titled fourth album (13) and Sharon Corr's Dream of You (22).

Hurts' Happiness is the biggest faller this week, dropping twelve places to 21 in the charts.
