The Kinetiks confirm new drummer and single launch

The Kinetiks have announced their new drummer and a pair of gigs to launch their new single.

The launch bash for 'Bite The Bullet' will take place in Whelan's on that most elusive of dates, February 29, with an all-ages gig in the same venue the following afternoon.

The band have also confirmed Portmarnock lad Paul Donoghue as their new drummer, and promise more live announcements in the coming weeks - watch this space!

National Student Music Award finalists The Kinetics are an indie band like no other.

The Kinetiks are aptly named; the tracks on their new EP are a bundle of raw energy. The EP’s first track, ‘A Smile’d Crack Your Face,’ sets a rapid pace but the band are able to maintain it until the end. The Dublin band cultivate a sound reminiscent of the Strokes circa Is This It?. If their live shows are anything like their recorded tracks, audiences will not be disappointed.
