The Coronas hold on to Indie chart top spot

While the Dubs are still on top, there are new entries from Brian Kennedy and The Magic Numbers

The Hot Press Newsdesk, 30 Jul 2010

Dublin band The Coronas have held on to the top spot of the Irish Indie chart this week, with their latest album Tony Was An Ex-Con. And once again, the boys' debut has also charted - Heroes Or Ghosts is sitting pretty at No. 12.

There are two new entries this week - Belfast crooner Brian Kennedy's Very Best Of is at No. 5, while The Magic Numbers' latest release The Runaway enters at No. 13.

Elsewhere in the chart, M.I.A.'s Maya slips from No. 9 to No. 19, and I Am Kloot make a re-entry at No. 18 with Sky At Night.
