Team HP hits Electric Picnic, and Chatroom stage times confirmed

With just a few a minutes to go till the punters arrive, the Hot Press Chatroom is looking fab, and we're ready to rock 'n' roll, with times confirmed for this evening's acts.

The sun is shining and the rain has held off so far; the picnic season has begun, and within the next ten minutes the festival should be in full swing.

Over the weekend we'll be updating you with news, photos and Chatroom gossip, so stay tuned for all the latest.

This evening's Chatroom times have just been confirmed, and the line-up looks like this:

5pm - Jinx Lennon
6pm - Kila
7pm - Carbon/Silicon feat Mick Jones (ex-Clash) and Tony James (Generation Ex, Sigue Sigue Sputnik, Sisters of Mercy)
9pm - The Stunning
