Tarantella Fall playing Special Olympics gig today

You can catch them at 3pm on Henry Street.

The Hot Press Newsdesk, 15 Apr 2011

Tarantella Fall are playing in Henry Street today at 3pm as part of the events to promote the Special Olympics National Collection Day, which will hopefully raise €1 million for participating athletes. Also gracing the outdoor stage at noon is recent Hot Press interviewee David McSavage.

The band, who’ve received national airplay courtesy of Radio One’s John Murray, 2fm’s Dan Hegarty and Today FM’s Paul McLoone, have donated 100 copies of their recently released debut album Abandoned Road, which will be sold to add to the fighting fund.

There’s also a stage – and plenty of collection points! – on Grafton Street so pop along and make sure to have plenty of spare change on you.

A full list of ways to donate can be found at www.specialolympics.ie/WAYSTOGIVE/2011COLLECTIONDAY/COLLECTIONDAYEVENTS.aspx
