Super Furry Animals' Gruff Rhys solo date + album
Super Furry Animals fans are in for a treat on January 14 when Gruff Rhys plays a solo acoustic gig in Dublin's Sugar Club.

Following that on February 4 is the release of Yr Atal Genhedlaethon, his first solo album which is being released on the band's own Placid Casual label. For the non-Welsh speakers among you, the title roughly translates as The Stuttering Generation.
Capacity is limited to just 100, with tickets priced €10 available from Road Records, Fade Street, Dublin 2 or phone (01) 671 7340.
