Stars for intimate Dublin gig

Not content with giving us Arcade Fire, Canada send their second most wondrous band, Stars, over for an intimate gig in Dublin.

The Hot Press Newsdesk, 21 Jul 2005

The Montreal quintet will play the Sugar Club on September 10.

They'll be drumming up trade for Set Yourself On Fire, their latest off-kilter collection of pop tunes which includes a hate letter to Messrs. Bush and Bin Laden.

Driven along by a seriously bitchin’ oboe, it’s definitely in the running for ‘Unexpected Gem of the Year’.
