Sligo goes Solo in September [updated]
It's solo performers ahoy next month at Sligo's Black Box Theatre

The Black Box Theatre is the venue as the Solo festival returns next month to Sligo.
A celebration of – go on guess! - solo performers, it opens on September 2 with David Kitt who'll be treating fans to a sneak preview of his new covers album.
The rest of the live action stacks up as follows:
September 3 – Neil Cooney (8pm) and Pete Courtney (10pm)
September 4 – Ollie Cole songwriting workshop (11am), Steve & Henry Wickham (8pm) and Mary Coughlan (10pm)
September 5 – Donal O'Kelly in Jimmy Joyced (8.30pm)
September 7 – Martin Taylor (8.30pm)
September 8 – Nine Hynes & Katell Keineg (8.30pm)
September 9 – Mary McPartlan (8pm) and Mark Geary (10pm)
September 10 – Comedy special featuring Jason Byrne, John Henderson, Dermot McMorrow and MC John Colleary (8.30pm)
September 11 – Ola Onatunbe (8pm)
September 12 – Kieran Goss (8.30pm)
Given the Black Box's superb acoustics and line of sight, it promises to be a memorable fortnight.
