75 editorial jobs will be shed at the paper.

The Hot Press Newsdesk, 06 Feb 2012

The editor of the Irish Sunday Mirror and recent Hot Press interviewee Paul Martin has fallen victim to the latest round of cost-cutting at the paper, which will see 75 editorial jobs shed on both sides of the Irish Sea.

Martin, who also appeared recently on TV3’s Celebrity Come Dine With Me, started off as the paper’s showbiz correspondent before rising up through the ranks.

He’s broken stories and locked horns in the past with everybody from Rosanna Davison and Louis Walsh to Calum Best and Katy French.
