Neil Hannon drafted in for Murphy's Live
Neil Hannon of The Divine Comedy is to judge the final of the Murphy's Live competition, which takes place at The Village, Dublin on Thursday May 10.

He joins a panel of judges including Margaret Barron (Murphy's), Patrick Doyle (FIFA Records), Angela Dorgan (FMC) and Hot Press's own Shilpa Ganatra.
Also from Hot Press, Stuart Clark will be MCing as Ilya K from Waterford and The Chapters from Dublin battle it out to win the top prize worth €10,000 that includes recording time and a national EP release on FIFA Records.
The judges will make their decision while the crowd are entertained with an intimate show by the famed pop-punkers The Automatic.
Tickets for the show are free by emailing murphyslive@real-event.ie - but tickets don't guarantee entry so get there before the doors open at 8pm to stand a better chance!
