More Lizzy reissues on the way

Jailbreak, Johnny The Fox and Live And Dangerous have, we're reliably informed, never sounded so good!

The Hot Press Newsdesk, 10 Nov 2010

Re-masters of three more classic Thin Lizzy albums are to hit the racks here on January 21.

Jailbreak, Johnny The Fox and Live And Dangerous have been given a sonic spruce up by Scott Gorham and Joe Elliott in the Def Leppard man’s Joe’s Garage studio in Dublin.

Jailbreak will include five BBC session songs, re-mixes of the title-track and ‘The Boys Are Back In Town’, an early ‘Derby Blues’, an extended ‘Fight Or Fall’ and the previously unreleased ‘Blues Boy’.

Johnny The Fox comes complete with 12 alternate versions – ‘Don’t Believe A Word’ is notable for the different lyrics – and the unreleased ‘Scott’s Tune’ and Live And Dangerous contains bonus takes of ‘Opium Trail’ and ‘Bad Reputation’ plus an 11-track live DVD.
