Meat Loaf + Status Quo for Killarney SummerFest

With tickets for their Ardgillan Castle moving at a fierce old rate, Meat Loaf and Status Quo have confirmed a second al fresco bash in Fitzgerald Stadium on July 2, as part of the 2005 Killarney SummerFest.
Also on the bill is Melanie C, the reformed Spice Girl who releases her third album, Beautiful Intentions, on April 11. We know we're compromising our street cred, but the lead single, 'Next Best Superstar' is an absolute corker. Indeed, if it wasn't for the fact that young Ms Chisholm persists in supporting Liverpool, we'd give it a double hotpress.com 'thumbs up'.
Tickets for the event are priced from €49.50 and go on sale tomorrow, January 29 from the usual outlets nationwide.
