Massive Attack confirm EP release

The Olympia-bound Wild Bunch's new album will follow in 2010.

The Hot Press Newsdesk, 28 Aug 2009

To compensate for the fact that their new album is not now coming out until February 2010, Massive Attack are releasing a four-track Splitting The Atom EP on October 2.

Along with the Robert Del Naja, Grant Marshall and Horace Andy co-starring title-track, there’s a collaboration with TV On The Radio’s Tunde Adebimpe called ‘Pray For Rain’ and remixes of two other album tracks, ‘Psyche’ and ‘Bulletproof Love’, which respectively feature Martina Topley-Bird and Guy Garvey.

With Damon Albarn and Hope Sandoval also involved in the LP sessions, February can’t come around too soon!

You can hear what the Wild Bunch have been up to on October 6 and 7 when they swing by the Dublin Olympia.
