Marc Almond added to the Electric Picnic

New romantic icon Marc Almond has been added to the THISISPOPBABY line-up at the Electric Picnic.
The Soft Cell man will be celebrating 30 years of hit-making with a set that will include the likes of ‘Say Hello, Wave Goodbye’, ‘Stories Of Johnnie’, ‘Bedsitter’ and, natch, his take on Gloria Jones’ ‘Tainted Love’.
Presided over by the anarchic host Neil Watkins, the tent will also play host to the likes of extreme London performance artist Jonny Woo, neo-cabaret superstars Bourgeois and Maurice, electro poppers Robyn and Chew Lip plus Veda Beaux Rêves, Bitches With Wolves, THEATREClub, Ponydance, Krisma, Dizzy Dyin’ For It, Roxxy Stone, Opus Gei and the Glorious Mysteries, Bunny, Jackie Cash, Regina George, Blaithnaid McGee, Shazwanda, Alter Ego, AnimaLady, Mr C Gull; DJs Chewy Chewerson, Martin McCann, Will Dempsey and many more.
