Laura Izibor live in HMV

The upcoming Hot Press cover star will be performing live and signing copies of her highly-anticipated debut album Let the Truth be Told – in Grafton St’s HMV on Friday evening.

Having generated huge industry interest on an international scale, the 20 year-old singer-songwriter has been backed to become one of Ireland’s strongest musical exports in the coming year. She's also bagged herself a Hot Press cover, appearing on the front of our new issue – out tomorrow – with a certain Irish singer-songwriter...

Starting out singing at the young age of 15, Laura’s talent was spotted when she won the 2FM Song Contest. At 17, she started recording her debut album, set to hit shelves this week. In the meantime, she has been performing live, opening for acts including James Brown, India.Irie, and The Roots.

Izibor releases her debut album this Friday (May 8), and will be signing copies and performing live in HMV, Grafton St. at 6pm.
