Lana Del Rey is new queen of the Irish album chart

It's all change at the top...

The Hot Press Newsdesk, 03 Feb 2012

The divisive Lana Del Rey has seemingly justified the monster hype by ending Adele's reign at the top of the Irish album chart as Born To Die goes straight in at #1.

It's a bit of a tumble for Ms. Adkins as 21 falls to the number five spot with Ed Sheeran's + holding firm at #4 while the legendary Leonard Cohen takes the silver medal at #2 with Old Ideas and London/New Ross sensation Maverick Sabre debuts at #3 with Lonely Are The Brave.

Elsewhere, Delorentos' excellent Little Sparks enters the chart at the respectable position of #10, having come very close to knocking Adele off the top of the Indie chart.
