Lana Del Rey holds top spot in the Irish album chart

There's a new queen in town...

The Hot Press Newsdesk, 10 Feb 2012

It's very much as you were where the top three are concerned in this week's Irish album chart as Lana Del Rey's Born To Die retains the #1 position on its second week of release.

There's no change just below as Leonard Cohen's Old Ideas and Maverick Sabre's Lonely Are The Brave sitting pretty at #2 and #3 respectively. Adele begins her ascent back towards the top spot with 21 climbing one place to #4, knocking Ed Sheeran's + down to #5.

The highest new entry goes to Paul McCartney, whose cheekily-titled Kisses On The Bottom debuts at #9. There are also new entries for the Mark Lanegan Band, Van Halen and Air. To view the full chart click here.
