Guns N' Roses Irish gigs still on

A Twitter message claiming otherwise has been exposed as a hoax.

The Hot Press Newsdesk, 16 Aug 2010

Guns N’ Roses fans got a terrible fright last night when a message appeared on Axl Rose’s Twitter saying that he was pulling all of the band’s upcoming European shows, which include Irish stop offs in the Belfast Odyssey (August 31) and Dublin O2 (September 1).

It’s now been confirmed by the Gunners’ management that the message was the work of pranksters who hacked into the account.

Which means that Belfast and Dublin are still 100% on, with Danko Jones confirmed as the special guests. Tickets are still available priced £49 and €65.70 respectively.
