Green Day's musical headed to Dublin

The Broadway hit will come around in Nov. 2012

Green Day's American Idiot musical will stop from Nov. 5-10 at the Grand Canal Theatre as part of a three-month tour. Based off the band's last two albums American Idiot and 21st Century Breakdown, the Michael Mayer-directed show was nominated for Best Musical at last year's Tony Awards. A film adaptation produced by Tom Hanks is already in the works.

Tickets are set to go on sale Dec. 9.
