Green Day confirm live album release for 2011
Awesome As Fuck is out in March
The Hot Press Newsdesk, 08 Feb 2011

Following much speculation, Green Day have confirmed that a live album entitled Awesome As Fuck will be released this year.
As previously reported on hotpress.com, Amazon recently listed the album on their site with a March 15 release date. Punters weren't sure if this was an authentic listing, but Billie Joe & co have now confirmed its release date as three days later - March 18.
And if the pop-punks' live show at Dublin's O2 in '09 is anything to go by, we can't wait to get our mitts on it!

I don't know whether the labyrinthine beauty and complexity of contemporary dance music has trained my ear into high expectations, but nowadays rock, pop and punk has to be top class for me to find it remotely interesting. And I'm afraid this latest offering from Green Day – their first album in three years – just doesn't cut the mustard.
