Flavor Flav for Dublin

The Public Enemy rapper attempts to regain some credibility after participating in VH1's heinous reality TV show, The Surreal Life

The Hot Press Newsdesk, 03 May 2005

Public Enemy bandmates over for a Saturday appearance at the Electric Picnic, Flavor Flav plays a solo gig at Cradaddy, Dublin on July 2.

The small but perfectly formed rapper has also confirmed that PE have a new album, Rebirth Of A Nation, primed and ready to explode onto the streets on August 9. Guests on the collection include Dead Prez, Paris, Kam, MC Ren, Immortal Technique and The Conscious Daughters.

More recently, Flav has been involved in the somewhat "questionable" reality TV show, The Surreal Life, on VH1. He appeared alongside a host of C-grade celebs and '80s has-beens that included Full House funnyman Dave Coulier, the not-so-New Kid On The Block Jordan Knight and Sly Stallone's ex-wife Brigitte Nielsen, who emerged as the unlikely candidate for Flavour Flav's affections.
