HMV is next in line for the Bang Goes The Knighthood treatment! as Mr. Neil Hannon puts his alter ego away and returns with another offering from the slightly warped, but reassuringly recognizable world of The Divine Comedy.

The Hot Press Newsdesk, 28 May 2010

Mr. Neil Hannon has put his alter ego away and returns with another offering from the slightly warped, but reassuringly recognizable world of The Divine Comedy.

Music store HMV welcomes the band to its Grafton St store on Thursday June 3 at 5.30pm.

HMV Grafton St Manager Gary Roche said, "It will be great to have The Divine Comedy instore. They played in store for the launch of their last album and it was one of our favourite performances. Neil Hannon is one of the most talented musicians to come out of Ireland and this is a great chance to get a signed copy of the new album."

Hannon has put away his cricket pads following the success of his colaberative side project, "Duckworth Lewis Method", and written a wonderful new album featuring a cast of eccentric characters and classic melodies that populate 12 stunning tracks.

Bang Goes The Knighthood is out now on Divine Comedy Records.
