Dave Fanning to present new show on Sky

Dave Fanning is to front a new 14-week series of musical interviews on Sky Arts.

The Hot Press Newsdesk, 12 Oct 2007

The first episode of the Talks With Fanning series goes out at 8pm on Thursday November 1 and features New Order.

After that he gets up close and personal with The Flaming Lips, Billy Joel, The New York Dolls, Gary Numan, Jon Bon Jovi, The Killers, Pet Shop Boys, Lindsey Buckingham, Beck, PJ Harvey, Joe Elliot, Peter Frampton and David Gray.

“This series is all about hi-definition,” Fanning says. “I’ve done close to 200 interviews for different TV series in the past with the biggest rock stars on the planet, but in terms of production and quality-end product in general, this one is a serious cut above all the others.”
