Damien Dempsey to headline Cavan festival

An acoustic Damien Dempsey, Republic Of Loose, Gemma Hayes and O Emperor are confirmed for the 2011 Sham Rock Festival

The festival takes place from June 3 to 5 in the Cavan Equestrian Centre.

You’ll also be able to catch such emerging acts as A Plastic Rose, The Dead Flags, The Gandhis, Blind Pilot, The Holy Roman Empire, Henrietta Game and HP faves Tiny Magnetic Pets.

Early bird tickets are available from www.shamrockmusicfestival.com.

The rest of the bill comprises of such top cover acts as Oasish, The Fillers, Metallitia, Stereotonics, Stone Roses Experience and – our favourites – Dubpeche Mode, a reggae-minded tribute to Basildon’s finest. Oh and there will also be an appearance from the ahem, one and only, Chesney Hawkes!
