Damien Dempsey announces tour dates

It’s a big ask, but Damien Dempsey will try to be even more deadly than he was at 'Leccy Picnic as he embarks on a national tour.

He's set to visit the Nerve Centre, Derry (November 4); Dolan’s, Limerick (8 & 9); Roisin Dubh, Galway (10 & 11); Savoy, Cork (14); Glor, Ennis (16); Empire, Belfast (18); Time, Naas (22); Sky, Portlaoise (23); and Vicar St., Dublin (26 & 27).

Support for these electric shows is provided by Nizlopi who hit the top spot a few Christmases ago with ‘The JCB Song’.

Damo then switches into acoustic mode for shows in the Shannon Oaks Hotel, Portumna (December 7); Sirius Arts Centre, Cobh (8); De Barra’s, Clonakilty (9); Electric Avenue, Waterford (14 & 15); Spirit Store, Dundalk (16); and Linen Hall, Castlebar (17).

He’ll also be supporting Sinéad O’Connor when she embarks on an eight-date nip round North America next month.
