Damien Dempsey announces New Year's gig
Dempsey has just announced that he will be stopping off in Dublin to start 2009 properly with a gig at Vicar St.

This show sees an ending to a good year for the folk singer with Dempesy hitting No.1 on the Irish charts with his 2008 album release The Rocky Road.
Celebrate the New Year on December 31 at Vicar St with Dempsey and supporting acts, The Flaws and Lost Brothers.
Tickets will be going for €36 and will be on sale Monday, December 8 at 9 a.m.
