Castlepalooza shortlisted at the UK Festival awards

Castlepalooza has made the final shortlist for ‘Best European Festival’ in the 2008 UK Festival Awards.

The Offaly festival is up against the likes of Switzerland’s Gurtenfestival, Austria’s Snowbombing, Serbia’s Exit Festival, Creamfields Romania and Irish rival Oxegen who can all be voted for at eu.virtualfestivals.com.

To celebrate getting this far, the promoters of the Charleville Castle bash are putting two-day early bird camping tickets on sale this Wednesday for €59.

There’s also a couples’ ‘Treat Yourself Ticket’ for €299, which includes two weekend passes with camping; pitched tent on arrival; sleeping bags; pillows and mats; a bottle of premium Champagne; and Sunday breakfast in bed with your favourite paper!
