The Blizzards frontman will perform a solo gig at Whelan's next month

Niall Breslin from Irish pop band the Blizzards has confirmed his first solo headline show will take place on June 29 in Whelan's.
Reflecting on his experience with the Blizzards, Bressie comments, "We had six amazing years together. The gigs, the fans, the other guys in the band…it was all brilliant, but I've always found myself being embraced by all genre directions. Not only as a performer, but as a producer too." His debut solo single 'Can't Stay Young Forever', an '80s synth pop tune, is the first taster from his debut album which will be released later this summer.
Tickets for the gig on Wednesday June 29 cost €15 and go on sale this Friday at Ticketmaster.
