Beck's Fusion Winners announce single details

Dubliners Kinetiks are to release a new single this October - just after winning the Beck's Fusion competition.

The Hot Press Newsdesk, 27 Aug 2007

As part of the prize, the band will support Neosupervital at the Beck's Fusion launch in Dublin's The Village on Wednesday, September 5th.

Not ones to let the grass grow under their feet, the quartet will give the single 'Shuffle Your Feet' a digital-only release on October 12th.

The news caps off a great year for The Kinetiks, who were favourites for the National Student Music Awards and whose debut EP High Horse Olympics received strong praise from Hot Press. Its opening track 'A Smile Crack'd Your Face' blazed onto the airwaves earlier this year.

The band are known for their electrifying live performances, so expect the same high standard on September 5. A small number of tickets are available from www.becksfusions.ie, but if you can't make it there, you'll be able to catch them at Clare's Cois Fharraige Fesitval on September 8, where they'll be sharing a bill with Ocean Colour Scene and Paddy Casey.
