Alabama 3 are known for their hell-raising wild antics, so it shouldn't be too much of a stretch for the UK outfit to channel their years of excess when they play the part of an especially lively and unpredictable band in the forthcoming Irish production Seven Songs For Amy.
"They were exactly what we were looking for," says Fiona Graham, writer and producer of the film. “They are fantastic live performers who live and breathe the rock’n’roll lifestyle. They are the real deal!”
Seven Songs For Amy is described as a feelgood comedy “set in the West of Ireland and which follows the story of a struggling musician who writes an album for Amy, the girl he’s supposed to marry but is now in the arms of a global pop star.” What's more, one of the characters is a fictitious female Hot Press journalist!
