Fight Like Apes make serious dent in mainstream Album chart

The Picnic-bound outfit debut at number three while Katy Perry bags top spot.

It’s been an extremely good week’s work for recent Hot Press cover stars Fight Like Apes with their The Body Of Christ & Legs Of Tina Turner album not only topping the Indie Album chart, but also debuting at number three on the main Album chart.

Not bad given that the top two berths are occupied respectively by Katy Perry’s brand spankin’ new Teenage Dream and Eminem’s Recovery.

Other significant new entries include American metallers Disturbed whose Asylum enters at number 16 and Gossip Girl actress Taylor Momsen whose Pretty Reckless outfit open their account at numner 18 with Light Me Up.
