Dylan exhibition for Dublin

Fans can see iconic images from the Rolling Thunder Tour.

The Hot Press Newsdesk, 27 Apr 2009

In the same week that his Together Through Life album hits the racks, Dublin’s Gallery Number One has announced that it’s staging an exhibition of rare and unseen photos documenting Bob Dylan’s infamous Rolling Thunder Tour.

The shots were taken by ace American snapper Ken Regan who trawled his way through over 3,500 images to capture “all the madness, isolation, head games and pillpopping mayhem” of the 1975 trek, which included playwright Sam Shepard among its entourage.

Following the official May 1 launch which Regan himself is attending, the exhibition can be viewed free of charge at Gallery Number One, 1 Castle Street, Dublin 2.
