Japanese Popstars to release Groove Armada remix

Derry electro outfit The Japanese Popstars have come across some famous fans in the form of Groove Armada, who've asked the group to remix one of their tracks.

Groove Armada recently got in touch with Derry DJ trio The Japanese Popstars to ask if they'd like to remix one of their tracks.

The lads came back with a new mix of the Groove Armada song 'Get Down' – previously remixed by the likes of Calvin Harris – and Groove Armada were such big fans that they've decided they want it released.

The track will be released under 'Groove Armada Vs The Japanese Popstars' on the Strictly Rhythm label.

The Japanese Popstars are currently on tour around Ireland. This month they play a BudRising gig at The Village, Dublin tonight (April 11) with Hadouken!; Club Fabric, Tralee (12); Envy, Sligo (18); The Beach Club, Belfast (25); The Nerve Centre, Derry (26). After that there are more dates around the country, as well as stop offs at Oxegen and Glastonbury.
