Yessssss! What a corker! Kasabian’s alt folk gem sounds like the spliffed out, bongo-ed up grandchild of Gomez’s ‘Whippin’ Piccadilly’ and The Stone Roses’ ‘Tightrope’ with a sniff of Happy Mondays for good measure. Delivering danceable rhythms, funk-fuelled basslines, hip-shakin’ acoustic guitars and insanely hummable melodies with undeniable style on their debut single these boys look like they might be in it for the long haul.
