Long Way Down

Stephen Robinson

Faintly Eddie Reader-esque vibe here, but a slightly mannered vocal left me feeling less moved than I might have been by the lead track. ‘Saturday’ is another tune that careers dangerously towards feyness though the lyrically perfect ‘Out Of Sight’ illustrates why she’s held in such high regard by many.
