While The Strokes may have modeled themselves on – insert name of New York new-wave act 1975-80 here – and The Hives are the Pixies, The Datsuns, inexplicably have chosen to perform the songs of Status Quo in the style of Led Zeppelin. Phffffffft! Incredibly, it’s sounds great. My favourite new band. Man.
