Drum Aficionados: John Bonham Tribute

Special gig to commemorate drummer's death.

Saturday, 25 September will be the 30th anniversary of the death of former Led Zeppelin drummer John Bonham.

To mark the event, The Sugar Club are hosting a special event that will see three drummers (Johnny Boyle, Binzer Brennan and Simon Freedman) take to two replica Bonham drum kits to give a selection of unique performances including:

30 Zep songs in a 13 minute medley

A drum duet

4 classic Zep tunes played in their entirety with vocal, bass and guitar accompaniment

'Moby' Dick drum solo to be screened on the big screen.

Tickets for the event are available on the door for €10 and all ages are welcome.

Those attending on the night also have the opportunity to win a Pearl Demon Drive Pedal.
