Muse live sound engineer Marc Carolan – who is also one of the hottest producers in Ireland, having worked on albums by Delorentos, Turn and JJ72, among numerous others – is the latest addition to the impressive array of guest speakers at Music Ireland, which takes place at the RDS Main Hall, Dublin on October 4 and 5.

Carolan will join a panel titled "Producing A Record – What's It All About?", where he will share a platform with Crowded House's Nick Seymour, Steve Wall of The Walls and The Stunning, and engineer to the stars Tom McFall (REM, Bloc Party, Editors) – an A-list gathering that will give bands, musicians and fans alike a unique insight into this crucial aspect of the creative process.

Also added to the list of panelists are:

*Thrills manager Alan Cullivan and Ashley Keating of The Frank and Walters and FIFA Records, who both will join Dave Robinson, founder of Stiff Records and Edison Waters (manager Laura Izibor) to discuss "The 360 Degree Deal – Is This The End of The Industry As We Know It?";

*Republic of Loose mainman Mck Pyro, who will discuss "Songs Should Have Some Bloody Meaning!", alongside Ronan Hardiman and Dave Odlum;

*Maria Doyle Kennedy, who will participate in the "The Great Irish Radio Debate: Are Irish Artists Still In The Doghouse?", alongside John Clarke (2fm), Willie O'Reilly (Today FM and Chairman IBI) and Jon Richards (Galway Bay FM).
