Luan Parle among winners at Balcony TV Awards
The Script, Zoe Conway and Luan Parle all walked away with Balcony TV Awards on Friday night, June 20.

Tango Dancers, Bands and a Beatboxer. For two years now BalconyTV.com has been bringing us the best in upcoming Irish and international talent. So to celebrate the website's second birthday, the Balcony TV Video Music Awards in the Sugar Club on Friday night, (June 20) were no different. With acts such as The Kinetiks, Royseven, John Spillane, Reader’s Wives and Zoe Conway with John MyIntyre, the Tango Flash Mob and Alberto the Musicbox among those taking to the stage, the crowd was well enterained. Lauren Guillery, Leanne Harte and Balcony TV Hamburg presenters Lars and Johanna were some of those who dished out the awards - it was a star studded night by Irish indie scene standards.
The winners on the night were; Best Male, Keith O Brien; Best Female, Luan Parle; Best International Act, Apes in the Orange Grove – Netherlands; Best Alternative Show, Raven; BalconyTV Hamburg Award, Jan Baruschke & Markus Rollwage; Best Show, Zoe Conway & John MyIntyre; Best Band, The Script.
