The Frank & Walters announce December tour

Cork veterans The Frank & Walters are hitting the road next month.

The band have had a great year, releasing a critically-acclaimed new album A Renewed Interest In Happiness as well as touring Ireland, Europe and the US.

They're back home for a mini-tour in the run-up to Christmas, hitting the following venues over the next couple of weeks:

December 7 - McHugh's, Drogheda
December 8 - Whelan's, Dublin
December 14 - The Music Factory, Carlow
December 15 - The Roisin Dubh, Galway
December 22 - Dolan's, Limerick
December 27 - The Savoy, Cork

If you want to hear how a note should be held, have an earful of Paul Linehan’s request for you to ‘goooo’. But go in a good sense, for the refrain of ‘Fight’ is that we “deserve to be happy”. Certainly the song takes you most of the way there; it’s not quite as rousing as the glorious previous release ‘Miles And Miles’ but be warned: you may find yourself embracing the nearest person to you by the time it’s finished.
