The Flaws announce details of debut album

Monaghan lads The Flaws will release their debut album Achieving Vagueness this autumn, following a busy summer of touring, and a new single.

The latest single by Carrickmacross foursome The Flaws will be released on July 27. The song ‘1981’ also appears on the band’s debut album Achieving Vagueness, out on September 14.

The ten-track record will feature the radio hit ‘Sixteen,’ which appeared on the band’s 2005 EP and was put out as a single earlier this year.

The Flaws take to the road supporting the Thrills this summer, playing the Nerve Centre, Derry (July 26); Spring And Airbrake, Belfast (July 27); The Village, Dublin (July 28); Cyprus Avenue, Cork (August 2); Roisin Dubh, Galway (August 4).

The also play a host of festival dates in Ireland and Europe: Meltfestival, Germany (July 14); Castlepalooza Festival Tullamore Co Offaly (August 5); Indie-Pendence Festival, Mitchelstown, Cork (August 5); Feile Beo Festival, Dingle, Kerry (August 19); Le Cheile Festival, Meath (August 3).
