Messiah J & The Expert will headline a night of homegrown hip-hop at The Shelter

Following the huge success of their debut album, What's Confusing You?, Messiah J & The Expert will play The Shelter on December 13.
Formerly known as Creative Controle, the Dublin duo have made a name for their fantastic live shows, and have supported such reputable names as Public Enemy and Gangstarr.
Support for the Shelter gig comes from turntablist and ITF Djing competition winner, DJ Flip, and Dublin's own Relevance, featuring Exile Eye (Equillibrium) and Kormac (Basscape).
Tickets are priced at €12 and are available from Urban, Road, Sound Cellar, Big Brother, City Discs, All City, Comet and Freebird records.

Featuring Def Jux’s C Rayz Walz, bolstering both their reputation and record sales, it’s a catchy track with simple beats and an infectious hook that will definitely keep our heads nodding into the summer. An indication that their second album, due out in autumn, has been worth waiting for.
