Self-professed synth-rock geeks The Brilliant Things popped by the Hot Press Signing Tent after their 'best gig of the year' at Oxegen. In leather jackets, or in lead singer Marie Jnr's case, a neon blue evening gown and matching face paint, the four sat down to discuss their first-of-its-kind iPhone guitar solo (they're called The Brilliant Things for a reason!), songwriting and the Irish music scene.
