Sweet Jane and Lydia Des Dolles part ways

Catch the new line-up in full swing this Friday night...

The Hot Press Newsdesk, 12 Sep 2012

With the confirmed departure of now-former singer Lydia Des Dolles, Dublin rockers Sweet Jane are looking forward to the future. First up is a headline slot this Friday night (September 14) in The Academy 2 as part of the Phantom Live series.

Now comprised of the brothers Paxton (Danda on guitars and vocals, Neil on keys, guitar and backing vocals, Ruairi on bass - not to mention a fourth brother, Conor, pitching in at live shows) and drummer Donagh O'Brien, the new-look Sweet Jane are currently putting the finishing touches on their forthcoming second album alongside producer Pat McCarthy, known for his work with REM, Madonna, Lou Reed, Patti Smith and many others.

Support on Friday night comes from Death In The Sickroom and tickets are a mere €5 on the door or from Ticketmaster outlets.
