Hands in the air Galway, ‘cos Shit Robot is coming to town! The second weekend of his mini Irish tour sees him taking it live, at Roisin Dubh on Friday, September 21, before packing up the gear to finish it off at the Sugar Club (22). His first live Dublin headliner gig ever! He enthuses: “The Irish crowd is seriously amazing and I’m not just saying that because I’m Irish and this is an Irish magazine. They are some of the best in the world. Whether you’re playing behind the bar of some old pub, or a huge festival, it’s guaranteed good times.”
Shit Robot also has a heck of a DJ gig lined up on September 28 at London’s XOYO club, where he’ll be playing alongside BreakBot, Mylo and Justin Robertson for BreakBots’ debut album release party! He adds: “It’s going to get crazy. I’ve been home working on new music. So I’m a little out of party practice. I’ll be fine once I get there. It’s just like riding a bike right? Now they’re at it again, this time bringing over none other than Swamp 81 label head and DJ supreme Loefah, aka Peter Livingston! Known as a pioneer in the worldwide dubstep, sub–cultural bass scene, Loefah is a hot DJ commodity. He is the founder of the now infamous DMZ brand with partners Mala and Coki and has hosted the outputs on his award-winning label from Boddika, Instra:mental, Kryptic Minds, Skream, Pinch, Ramadanman, Addison Groove and FaultyDL.
